Inspired by Serbian medieval horse bows (without shelf for an arrow) from the fresco of St. Procopius from the monastery of Lesnovo (Macedonia, 1349) whose founder was Despot Jovan Oliver, and by his title the model was named after, at the suggestion of my friend, one of the best master of archery equipment, Zak Đurica.
Graphic reconstruction of the bow was done by history professor Zoran Pavlovic, who studies Serbian medieval archery, especially bows, about which he published several scientific papers ..
